during the "heat of battle".

The Queen, sculpted in action fatigues, represents the female sector of our Firefighters and symbolizes
the "power" figure in terms of chess pieces.

The Bishop, in full dress, is illustrated with a Bible in hand characterizing the inspiration connected to
the demands of such a traumatizing profession.

The Knight, of course, appears in full action and is clothed in firefighters fatigues while brandishing his
trusty axe during the "heat of a battle".

The Rook (or Castle) is depicted as a fire station complete with a fire truck protruding from the doorway
ready to meet the day's challenges.

The Pawn is portrayed as the firefighters' fearless and faithful friend, the Dalmatian, proudly sporting his
master's fire helmet.
