Every day a special breed of hero stands ready to risk their lives for people they don’t even know. Armed with the tools of their lifesaving trade—notably a fire axe—and an abundance of courage, firefighters carry out extraordinary deeds and think nothing of it.

That tradition of going to the edge of valor now inspires a new replica fire axe collectible from the Bradford Exchange that extends a full 13 inches in length and features thrilling images of firefighters in action on its blade.

Each collectible offers a vision of strength and courage, and is carefully handcast to capture the look of an ash wood handle and shining blade. On the seventh issue, the word RESPECT is etched into the handle and additional symbols honoring the firefighter’s noble calling.
